Entries, pure or ID sport horse, must be registered with the IDHS (GB). Registration numbers must be given on entry form, but not required for foals, although breeding details essential. *Trophies awarded in most classes.

Pure Bred Classes - In Hand Classes
CLASS 1 BROOD MARE – Grade 1 Brood Mare (RID, AID, SID) with own foal at foot.
This class is a qualifier for the SNOWFORD G.B. BREEDING CHAMPIONSHIP. The two highest placed Graded Mares with foals at foot by a RID stallion (or, if one or both have already qualified, the mare(s) next in line) will go forward to the Final at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show. (Championship – First Prize £400.00, Reserve £200.00)
CLASS 2 FOAL – Out of Mare in Class 1, eligible for, (2a) Grade 1 Irish Draught Register or (2b) Grade 1 Sport Horse Register
CLASS 3 YOUNGSTOCK – 3a; Colt filly or gelding yearling, 3b; two/three year filly or gelding by a RID stallion and out of a Grade 1 Mare (RID, AID, SID) and 3 year old filly graded AID or SID by other Sire. No colts over 1 year (this class will be split if sufficient entries).
Classes 3a and 3b are Qualifiers for the IRISH DRAUGHT YOUNGSTOCK CHALLENGE. The two highest placed Yearlings from Class 3a and the two highest placed 2 year olds and two highest placed 3 year olds from Class 3b (or, if one or both have already qualified, the horse next in line down to 3rd place only in each age group) will go forward to the Final at the IDHS(GB) Annual Breed Show. In the Final, there will be three classes each awarding £150 to the 1st placed Semi-finalist and £100 to the 2nd placed Semi-finalist. The Two Semi-finalists from each class going forward to the Championship, where the Champion will receive £150, the Reserve will receive £100.

CLASS 4 MARE/GELDING 16hh and under – 4 years and over, RID, AID, SID graded Mares or Mare/Gelding by a RID Stallion and out of a Grade 1 Mare (RID, AID, SID)
CLASS 5 MARE/GELDING 16.1hh and over – 4 years and over, RID, AID, SID graded Mares or Mare/Gelding by a RID Stallion and out of a Grade 1 Mare (RID, AID, SID)
PURE BRED IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP – 1st & 2nd placed horses in classes 1, 2a, 3, 4, 5 eligible (Approx 10.45 am)

SPORT HORSE IN HAND CHAMPIONSHIP – 1st and 2nd placed horses in Classes 6 & 7 eligible. (Approx 12.45 pm)

CLASS 10 SMALL RIDDEN IRISH DRAUGHT Mare/ Gelding, 4 years and over, not exceeding 15.2hh. Registered pure bred or I.D.S.H.Qualifier for THE BLUE CHIP £2000 challenge.
CLASS 11 RIDDEN IRISH DRAUGHT – For Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over, registered or identified on the ID registers. All Stallions must be in possession of a current IDHS (GB) Covering Certificate Book. Qualifier for THE BLUE CHIP £2000 challenge.
Classes 9, 10, & 11 are Qualifiers for the BLUE CHIP & IDHS(GB) £2,000 CHALLENGE. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each Class will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip Championship, which will be held at the IDHS(GB) Annual Breed Show. NB: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered.
Each Qualifier will receive a rosette and a voucher for £10 from Blue Chip. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded £500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded £100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred will receive a Trophy and £100 and the highest placed 15.2hh & Under will receive a Trophy and £50.
